Taranto is the flamenco's stick, a dance, a sings, a touch of guitar, ...a everything, for that reason its founder decides to title it Los Tarantos.
The Caves Los Tarantos were founded in 1972. Don José Martín Quesada and Mrs. Concepción Maya Maya bought a cave, in the neighborhood granadino of the Sacromonte, which would become the flamenco caves Los Tarantos, being this the last zambra been founded in this neighborhood. Soon you confirmed like an important zambra, thanks to the quality of their show. For their scenarios they have passed important figures of the flamenco granadino like in their beginnings Luis Heredia El Polaco, Morenito de Íllora or the cantaora Chonchi Heredia that them sang inspiring by the dance to Manolillo Liñán or Luis de Luis.
In The Caves ¨Los Tarantos¨ they have acted Vitorino de Pinos, Guzmán Albea or Julio Terremoto, to the dance La Porrona, La Coneja, Bienvenido Maya o el Gabriel and the guitar El Chispita and Pepe and Paquito Maya.
